Fletcher & Frost aims to bring the joy of books and togetherness to the community of New Brighton. A welcoming and safe space will not only offer the latest curated books, but bring people together through creative practice.
Our Story
Founded in 2025 by Peter Frost.
Pete worked in education for over 20 years running a hugely successful creative College faculty in St Helens. Teaching film and video and graphic design up to degree level, Pete also created the first ever Creative Careers festival. He also has lots of experience working with young people with behavioural and emotional needs working in specialist schools teaching Art and Design and Drama for a number of years.
From 2021 to 2024 Pete was the Executive Director of The World of Glass in St Helens, where he successfully delivered grants to undertake a multi million pound development of the museum and galleries. He left in 2024 to follow his dream of returning to New Brighton and opening a community bookshop.
