The bookshop has decided to close it's door for good on Saturday 25th July 2026. Until then we are open Thursday - Saturday 11am - 4.30pm each week. See below for details of our final events.
TM Payne 21st July at Queens Royal, New Brighton Prom. 7 -9pm FREE event, no booking required. Meet Tina on the day of the launch of One Bad Deed, purchase a book and have it signed. There will be an opportunity to personally meet Tina between 7 - 8pm. At 8pm you can hear some readings from the new book and take part in an author interview. You may know Tina. so you will know that this will be a laughter full night.
THE BEAT THE PULSE THE WAVE by Jeremy Dixon is our last event in the bookshop. Listen to Jeremy read from his beautiful poetry collection, meet the poet and have a drink with us to toast Jeremy and the end of an era in the shop. Thursday 23rd July 7-9pm in the shop. FREE and no booking required.

Exciting Groups
The Famous POETRY CLUB hosted by legend Peter Kenny from the BBC. Starts again first Thursday of the month. Booking essential and only £10.
READING TOGETHER Friday 27th March at 11am. Just £5 (includes refreshments). This is a community and friendship based group with a facilitator who will introduce you to short stories and poetry. Shared reading doesn't mean that you need to read aloud. Wonderful group.
Easter Crochet Wednesday 25th March 12.30pm - 3pm. £15 suitable for those who have been on the beginners.
Beginners Crochet Thursday 26th March 12.30pm - 3pm. £20 All materials provided.
Craft and Makers get together Saturday 11th April 10am - 12 noon. FREE. Bring what you're working on and meet other people.
Beginners Crochet Friday 17th April 9.30am - 12 noon. £20 All materials provided.

Unfortunately due to reliability issues with Parcelforce we can no longer guarantee getting the book to you within 2 days. We can still get books in, they are just taking longer to arrive unfortunately. This is out of our control.
Can't get to us? Just let us know and we will deliver the book to you - free of charge. As long as you live in the community of course.
