Based at the top of New Brighton on 51 Mount Pleasant Road, the bookstore offers the latest fiction and non fiction for Adults and Children. Small community focussed classes run regularly in the reading room. We like to get to know you and hope you will become part of our community of readers who share their likes so that others can enjoy reading them too.​

At Messrs Fletcher & Frost we pride ourselves on offering an unparalleled service. We are reaching out to the community to offer creative sessions for children and adults and making a safe comfortable space to grow and learn.
Our books are curated to offer you the very latest in Adult fiction and children's books.
We also go the extra mile. If we don't have the book you want we will get it to you within 2 days - delivered to your door.
What's on
Exciting Groups
The Famous POETRY CLUB hosted by legend Peter Kenny from the BBC. Starts again first Thursday of the month. Booking essential and only £10.

READING TOGETHER Friday 27th March at 11am. Just £5 (includes refreshments). This is a community and friendship based group with a facilitator who will introduce you to short stories and poetry. Shared reading doesn't mean that you need to read aloud. Wonderful group.

Easter Crochet Wednesday 25th March 12.30pm - 3pm. £15 suitable for those who have been on the beginners.

Beginners Crochet Thursday 26th March 12.30pm - 3pm. £20 All materials provided.

Craft and Makers get together Saturday 11th April 10am - 12 noon. FREE. Bring what you're working on and meet other people.

Its a community thing
Unfortunately due to reliability issues with Parcelforce we can no longer guarantee getting the book to you within 2 days. We can still get books in, they are just taking longer to arrive unfortunately. This is out of our control.
Can't get to us? Just let us know and we will deliver the book to you - free of charge. As long as you live in the community of course.
